Riley noted in her application, “Research indicates that males learn and retain more information through visual and kinesthetic activities. Females, on the other hand, show the greatest learning through auditory systems. This projector will enable all students to use their preferred mode of learning to maximize their success.”
“Northwest Professional Educators is happy to provide Ms. Riley this grant to enhance student learning,” said Cindy Omlin, Executive Director of NWPE. “NWPE is proud to reward educators for their hard work and creativity in the classroom. Ms. Riley’s award is certainly well-deserved as she seeks ways to increase student achievement.”
