Dressed as one of Dr. Seuss’s silly characters, Brenda read at the following schools:

East Elementary School, Mountain Home (7 K-2 classes).

Thank you to Principal Karen Gordon for her help organizing the readings.  Also involved were teachers Deborah Freeman, Elizabeth Mosley, Lisa Stover-Russell, and Shana Hennessey and Jessica Petty (shown with Brenda below) and Lisa Stover-Russell.  Seuss classics like Cat in the Hat, The Cat in the Hat Comes Back, The Foot Book, Green Eggs and Ham, and Fox in Socks were read.  Students actively participated by reading repeated pattern phrases and sounds.  Brenda provided Dr. Seuss related goodie bags and cupcakes for the entire staff.
