Congratulations to Ms. Lee Cornell, teacher of Technology, Filmmaking, and Discovering Cultures and Languages at Victory Middle School in the West Ada School District, Meridian, ID. Ms. Cornell has been awarded a $500 scholarship to attend the Northwest Council for Computer Education to be held in Seattle, WA, Feb 14-16, 2018. The award was presented by Brenda Miller, NWPE regional director.
Ms. Cornell has found NWPE to be a responsive organization. “I joined NWPE primarily because it was the most affordable legal protection I could get and the other organizations available did not listen to that being a factor in keeping me as a member. Professional organizations need to listen to their members concerns; NWPE provides the single most important legal protection at an affordable price for educators.” Congratulations again, Ms. Cornell. We wish you an exciting conference!
