You're Invited to View "The Cartel"

Wednesday, January 25

Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy

7:00 0 p.m.

Join fellow NWPE members and community members for a viewing of "The Cartel," a shocking, award winning documentary that chronicles the causes and consequences of the failings of public education.  It will be shown in Room A11 in the last portable behind the multi-purpose room at the Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy high school at 4904 N. Duncan Drive, Coeur d'Alene, ID.  See directions here.  The event is hosted by Dr. and Mrs. Bill Proser, founders of the nationally awarded Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy.  Bill is Vice President of the NWPE Board of Directors.

"The Cartel shows us our educational system like we've never seen it before. Behind every dropout factory, we discover, lurks a powerful, entrenched, and self-serving cartel. But The Cartel doesn't just describe the problem. Balancing local storylines against interviews with education experts such as Clint Bolick (former president of Alliance for School Choice), Gerard Robinson (president of Black Alliance for Educational Options), and Chester Finn (president of the Thomas B. Fordham Institute), The Cartel explores what dedicated parents, committed teachers, clear-eyed officials, and tireless reformers are doing to make our schools better for our kids.

"This movie will force the scales to fall from the eyes of policymakers, education officials, reformers, intellectuals, teachers, and taxpayers."

Anyone interested in educational reform is welcome as we celebrate National School Choice Week around the country.

Invite a friend!  We'd love to see you!
